+ Do You Offer Free Consultations?

We offer a complimentary 30-minute Discovery call OR Virtual zoom call – We chat, learn about the scope of your project, your budget & ideas. We decide if we are a good fit for each other.

+ How Do I Know You Are The Right Designer For My Project?

That’s why we begin the process with a discovery call, where we will learn more about your project and what you would like the vision to be for your home. This is where we see how comfortable we are with each other & where we get to understand your lifestyle, how you want to live in your home, how you want it to feel, what is important to you and your family. We understand that you are signing on to a major project that will last quite a few months - maybe years if it is a new build. Therefore, it is important that we get to know each other and establish trust. The consultation and presentation appointments are comprehensive sessions where we provide a lot of value, but we keep it fairly laid back and organic, and allow you to open up about what your ideal home is to you. We’ve created long standing client relationships; some we are happy to call forever friends.
We are our clients' biggest advocates, and when you hire us, you save time and money. We take care of it all for you.

+ What's Included In The Initial In Home Consultation?

We will travel to your home and walk around & discuss & chat about your wants & needs you would like for your home. We will take notes & ask questions that will best help us to come up with a vision for the project.

+ What Are Your Design Fees And Is There A Minimum Fee?

Because each project is unique, we need time to discuss your vision for the project and the scope of work, after which we will be happy to prepare an Interior Design Fee Estimate Proposal for you.
We do require a one room minimum Design. We present our design fee as a flat fee, but it is based on an hourly model. This means that we estimate the total number of hours we believe will be required to complete your project. This way, you know upfront what your overall fees will likely be. Our payment options are checks, credit cards and cash

+ Can I afford interior design help from a professional?

You can often save money by hiring an interior designer.
Industry professionals have access to discounts from multiple businesses that they can pass on to their clients.
Also, you can avoid costly mistakes and purchases by utilizing a designer’s professional services up front, rather than during a redo of a space that did not suit your needs or desires.

+ How Involved Will I Have To Be In The Design Process?

You can be as involves as you would like to be. Although I have a protocol, I follow to strategically to make sure everything goes smooth & stress free for you, as it should- I can negotiate with however you would like to do things

+ How Long Will My Project Take??

This obviously will vary from project to project.1-2 rooms, depending on the size & after seeing what needs to be done, usually takes anywhere from 3-6 months (at the very least). Of course, this also depends on communication and decision making.

+ Do You only work with one Signature Style?

Although I’ve always specialized in Modern aesthetics, we also pride ourselves on our experience and ability to produce the right design for our clients. It is all a part of our commitment to excellence. Most of our clients seek us out for the bold modern interiors we typically create, but we are happy to speak to you regardless of your design style.

+ When you design a room, what is the most important interior design advice you give?

Think about the primary use of the room, and who will see it. Your bedroom is your haven and should be inviting to you. A living room or dining room that will be seen by many people is where you may want to make a statement. What rooms do you spend the most time in? How do you need the room to function for you? We like to create rooms that have an interior design that flows from one room to the next.

+ Is your Process similar to what I’ve seen on HGTV ??

Calling it “Reality TV” is really a bit of a misnomer, because it is not “reality.” These shows can be fun because they show results, but not a process. The process is a big part of any design practice. There’s so many “behind the scene” aspect that you don’t get to see. Reality shows are based on months and months of pre-planning, which is probably the only place where the processes do overlap, but they can’t show that prep work in 30 minutes. So, what you see is the big, flashy and fabulous reveal. Not in real time and not in real life. For your home to have the big, wonderful reveal, which is certainly the goal, Our goals are based in real time, which is often six months out, or more.

+ What questions should I expect an interior designer to ask?

• What is your timeframe?
• What is your budget?
• Is there anything you absolutely do not like?
• What design style do you like or have in mind?
• Do you want the HGTV reveal installation? Where you will be out of the home while my team and I makeover your home and you come home to the surprise outcome you’ve always dreamed?

+ What Can I Expect On Installation Day?

We like to call it THE BIG DAY! because it is truly what we are all working towards. There is a lot that happens before we get to the big day, and we coordinate everything behind the scenes.
By the time we get to installation day, all your beautiful wallpaper, millwork, painting, draperies, and light fixtures are already installed.
As you may already know, all the furnishings go to our warehouse and then they are white glove delivered and carefully placed in your home by our team and then styled to perfection for the big reveal.
A few weeks before the big day, we will reach out to schedule. We will send an installation day letter that details what to expect and how to prepare.
If there are furnishings that we need to move out, we will help you coordinate if needed. We arrange for an organizer and cleaner if those services are needed as well. The final balance is collected at this time.
We ask that our clients not be home during installation, and animals put away, because your home will be a bit of a major staging area before it gets pretty. We try to move quickly through the installation to get you back into your home as quickly as possible.
We strive for the big reveal moment that you will be blown away by, and so all vignettes are styled to perfection down to the candlesticks.
